Are Good Boxes recyclable?
Yes! Our moving boxes are 100% recyclable. After their lifetime they are sent back to the plant to be recycled. Therefore we get the best of both worlds – reuse and recycle.
Are Good Boxes made of recyclable material?
Our moving bins are made out of virgin material – specifically, high-density polyethylene, and is recyclable #2 for plastics. They are 100% recyclable, but not made out of recycled material. We eventually want to transition to boxes made of recycled materials, but until we can this is our best choice. Our focus is on the reuse of these boxes, as well as to provide a more convenient moving experience for our customers.
Reservations
Are there additional charges for Delivery and Pick-up?.
No. Delivery and pickup of our Good Boxes are included in the cost, within our delivery zone. We try to make our moving box rentals as convenient as possible for you.
Can I do a one-week rental?
Yes! You can certainly schedule a one-week rental, but unfortunately it’s going to cost the same amount as a two-week rental.
Can I rent the boxes for more than two weeks?
Yes! On the reservation form, please indicate how many extra weeks you’d like to reserve the boxes.
Can I still rent boxes if I’m outside your typical service area?
Yes! Depending on where you are, we can schedule a delivery and pick-up outside our typical service area. However, extra charges will apply. Please contact us for more information.
During the Rental
Can I extend my rental if I need more time, unexpectedly?
Yes! We understand that unpacking can sometimes take longer than expected. However, additional charges do apply and depend on the number of boxes you rent. We require 48 hour notice for any extension, otherwise the extension cannot be guaranteed. This allows us the time we need to reschedule our driving routes. Please contact us immediately, if you need more time.
How can I label my boxes?
We suggest using Painter’s Tape or Masking Tape to label the boxes. This is an easy way to label boxes without defacing them. If you decide to use tape to label the boxes, remove all labels after use. Please do not write directly on the box, even with an erasable or water-based marker. If we find the boxes have been written on, you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the box.
